Presidential Cup Brings a Special Day of Growth and Celebration to Volga Dance Academy

Yesterday, September 13, Volga Dance Academy hosted our Presidential Cup — a special in-studio event that brought together young dancers, families, and our academy community for an afternoon of progress, encouragement, and celebration.

For many of our students, especially beginners, this was an important milestone. Some stepped onto the floor and performed in front of an audience for the very first time. It was a day filled with excitement, support, and proud moments for dancers, parents, and teachers alike.

Following the event, Katrina Volgina, Head Coach and Director of Volga Dance Academy, shared this heartfelt message:
A huge THANK YOU to all the parents and children who participated in our Presidential Cup today! ❤️

It may have been a small event, but for our young dancers — especially our beginners — it was a very big step.

For some of them, this was their very first time stepping onto the floor and performing in front of an audience. And as the Head Coach and Director of Volga Dance Academy, I couldn’t be happier. They came out. They danced. They faced the excitement, the nerves, and the challenge — and they did it! 👏

A special thank you to all the parents who came to support them, cheer for them, and celebrate these important little victories.

And I am especially proud of our older students who came to support the younger generation and served as judges today. This is exactly what I want to see in our academy — our older students becoming leaders, taking responsibility, and supporting those who are just beginning their journey. ❤️

Everyone left happy, and I think that means one thing: we need to do this more often!

Our next competition will be a real competitive event in October, and today was an important step toward getting our young dancers ready for it.

Thank you to everyone who made today special!

Thank you for being part of the Volga Dance Academy family. ❤️
We are so proud of every child who took part in the Presidential Cup and so grateful to the families who helped make this event so meaningful.

Events like this remind us that progress in dance is built step by step — through courage, consistency, support, and the joy of performing together.

Congratulations to all of our young dancers! We are already looking forward to the next competition in October and to many more special moments ahead.

If you were part of our Presidential Cup, we would love to hear about your experience. A short Google review helps more families discover Volga Dance Academy and become part of our community.
